i sit and read our texts
over and over again
there is not real point-
i can't hear your voice in my head :(

and some would say that's great !!
but i'm not so sure about that.
cuz i miss you a lot,
and miss me-i know you do not.

and i know i probably should stop
because i am not helping myself
but it's hard for me to stop
when i feel less than put on a shelf

and it's long past time to move on
so why do i still feel this way?
cause i'm silly and young, not mature
and i dreamt we would be so much more

so i lay in bed and reread
and i shed a couple of tears
and i ask myself what's the point?
but there is none- won't see you next year
